Anthropotech
Groundbreaking Research into a New Model for Building Community, Maximizing Health and Alleviating Crime through Human Integration with Nanotechnology

Project Director: K. Takeshi, Ph.D.

The visionary scientists and social theorists of this generation are beginning to recognize the innate limitations of carbon-based life to accelerate the full realization of our social and genetic possibilities apart from technology. At the Sanger Initiative we believe that the leaders of today must take full advantage of the natural synergy between nanotechnology research and traditional molecular bioengineering. Today, our advances are capable of helping humans with disabilities such as MS, ALS, CP, and spinal cord injuries. Tomorrow, there is no limit to what neuroelectronic interfaces can accomplish. The new abilities that brain implants could unlock will go far beyond the promises of mind-controlled prosthetics and electronic eyes and ears. A perfect cortical machine interface with collective humanity could open new doors in our societal evolution. Man is simply a complex organic machine, and with new diagnostic and cognitive tools at his disposal, the importance of psychophysical identities will fade, showing the way to a bright new future.
